Through her business, Vignette Brand Studio, and her podcast The Vignette Effect, she shares insights and creative direction for brands that want to resonate deeply and lead with style.

I’m Jessa—a photographer, educator, and visual storyteller drawn to the quiet, the bold, and everything beautifully in-between. My work is rooted in capturing everyday magic and the connections that shape us. As both an artist and a teacher, I’m constantly inspired by the process of seeing the world more deeply—whether through my own lens or alongside my high school photography students. Being part of the Elevae community has pushed me to grow, explore, and pick up my camera even more.

Her work has supported powerhouse entrepreneurs like Jenna Kutcher, Marie Forleo, Amy Porterfield and Emily Ley—yet it’s through Élevae Visuals that she’s made her biggest impact. Shay poured her years of experience as an A-list stylist into creating a curated stock membership that equips female-led brands with elevated, on-brand imagery and video. Shay lives in sunny Tampa, Florida, with her husband, entrepreneur Graham Cochrane, and their two daughters, and celebrates 20 years of marriage and a business built with purpose.
